Telephone Banking

Banking made easy
Banking is made so much easier when you can do it over the phone. You can conduct a range of transactions in a single call – pay your bills, check account balances and recent transactions.

Features
A phone call means you can:

  • check account balances and transactions
  • transfer funds between linked Commonwealth Bank accounts
  • pay bills using BPAY®
  • order statements
  • check foreign exchange rates
  • activate cards or change passwords

Telephone Banking for hearing or speech impaired
A telephone typewriter (TTY) service covering all the services on 13 2221 is available by calling 1800 240 889 between 8am and 8pm (Sydney time), Monday to Friday. If you don’t already have a TTY and would like to know more about the Telstra TTY Program, call the Australian Communication Exchange on 1800 066 456.

What you need
Business account holders must have a telephone banking password to utilise this service.  To establish a telephone banking password, please contact your Branch for assistance.  Please note that accounts with a method of operation of 'more than one signature required' will only be able to conduct account enquiries via telephone banking.
